For many years now, our family has taken a family photo at Christmas time, to celebrate the holidays and spread some joy. It's also a nice way for us to connect and be creative. Here is a living archive of each year, with some minor BTS commentary.

Writing can be daunting. There is no buffer between you and the blank page. Nothing but your own vulnerable words; thousands of them, each specifically chosen and approved by you. If they're dull, uninspired, confusing, offensive, or brilliant, you only have yourself to blame.

While overseas, I’ve been contemplating and confronting my history with chronic pain. There are probably a lot of you who know very little, or nothing at all, about my story, so I want to share my experience with you, in the spirit of connection and awareness.
